Jon Fitch probably wraps his credit cards in aluminum foil. And he should. That’s exactly how the government keeps tabs on you…so says my 85 year old grandfather and all his equally ancient and equally paranoid friends. GPS? Government tracking devices. Cell phones? Government tracking devices. Addresses and zip codes? Government tracking devices. Bottom (more…)

I just wrote a tongue-in-cheek article about how to get fired from the UFC. I actually wrote it yesterday before the hammer fell on so many fighters. Obviously, if you read the article, you know it was about Jacob Volkmann. Of course as the day progressed, there were many more names added to the list of releases. None were more surprising (although maybe it wasn’t surprising) than Jon Fitch.
For years, I’ve joked that Fitch must be the most hated man n the UFC; (more…)

Jon Fitch thinks he might be out of luck for a while. The former #1 welterweight contender wants nothing more than to get another crack at the title, but according to his predictions, it might not be for a while. Longtime welterweight contender Jon Fitch thinks the entire ranking system is messed up, and in a way, I have to agree. Until recently, Fitch has been as dominant a fighter as anyone never to hold a title. He had an incredible 21-1 run before he had a draw with BJ Penn and a KO loss to Johny Hendricks. That’s a pretty amazing streak if you ask me. His only loss during that span came in his only title shot against Georges St-Pierre. It seems Fitch feels his winning ways deserved a little more than just that one shot though.
